We are looking for support to strengthen our Electronics & Control team with immediate effect.

Job Objective:

Creation and maintenance of PLC software for plants.

Your tasks:

  • Creation of PLC programs for plants and peripherals.
  • Implementation of new functions in existing software and further development of the software
  • Programming of visualizations for smaller systems and interfaces for communication with external systems
  • Assessment of machine safety with the help of Sistema and creation of safety concepts
  • technical support of service staff in solving customer problems
  • support during commissioning of systems and parameterization of drives and frequency converters
  • testing and documenting the programs as well as creating manuals
  • occasionally supporting the creation and adaptation of circuit diagrams with EPLAN

Your profile:

  • Technician degree in the field of electrical engineering, mechatronics or a comparable qualification
  • relevant professional experience
  • Good knowledge of programming in ST and/or C, preferably in the B&R Automation Studio development environment
  • Basic knowledge of creating safety programs in B&R SafeDesigner as well as working with Sistema desirable
  • Initial experience in the area of object-oriented programming as well as machine safety is advantageous
  • Experience with EPLAN is advantageous
  • knowledge in the area of drive technology
  • good command of written and spoken English

  • occasional willingness to travel
