Position Overview

The establishment and operation of the Voxeljet subsidiary in India requires the building of a compact, strong and professional sales team to project the company’s business in India and grow the market for its products. The Sales Manager position will require securing new business for 3D printing of sand cores, plastic patterns and new equipment sales.

 

Key Position Attributes

  • Provide leadership of the sales function of the Indian subsidiary

  • Alerting the company to trends in the Indian market for the company’s products

  • Ensuring that performance goals are set and met

  • Represent the organization to the public and business partners

  • Collecting accurate and updated market and competitor information covering all developments, technological and commercial, in the subsidiary’s market space

  • Reviewing of statistical data to track performance of sales functions

  • Being responsible for meeting sales targets and budgets as set by the management

  • Ensure that regular sales reports are produced on a timely basis

  • Providing weekly feedback, reports, suggestions to the management

  • Reports directly to Managing Director, India

 

Candidate Attributes

  • Experience in Sales, Foundry experience preferred

  • Strong focus on Sales of industrial products and equipment 

  • Willingness to learn the technical basics focused on our processes

  • Ability to communicate and interact with team members, partners and customers

  • Ability to think broadly and strategically

  • Exposure to foundry operations and experience in other applications of 3D printing is a plus

  • Ability to analyze technical, engineering and manufacturing needs of prospects and customers

  • Ability to analyze costs, benefits and return on investment of sales processes

  • Willingness to work flexible hours and travel to customers across India

  • Demonstrated ability to increase productivity and continuously improve methods, approaches, and departmental contribution
