Senior Manager Sales & Marketing China f/m

Key Position Attributes

  • managing the sales team and sales and marketing function of the Chinese subsidiary

  • implementing the group policy and directing the strategy towards the profitable growth and operation of the subsidiary

  • designing and implementing strategic sales and marketing plans for the Chinese market that expand and maintain the subsidiary’s customer base and ensure its strong presence

  • determining, monitoring and reporting on sales objectives

  • projecting expected sales volume and profit for existing and new products

  • negotiating and following up customer contracts

  • supporting our customers with sales related technical support

  • analyzing and advising subsidiary’s senior management on market trends, customer needs and competitors activities as well as critical factors for success of the sales activities

  • manage tradeshows, seminars and other marketing activities, both online and offline

  • organize product training sessions for distributors and end users

  • working in collaborative fashion with other voxeljet subsidiaries located in the USA, UK, India as well as international dealer partners and the German headquarters

  • miscellaneous administrative duties in support of sales and marketing-related objectives

 

Candidate Attributes

  • engineering/ economics degree or equivalent experience

  • proven sales and marketing experience in the technical field closing high end, highly engineered capital equipment to all levels of the customer organization from the engineering departments to the corporate level suite

  • 3D Printing experience is a plus

  • experience in the aerospace, space, automotive and power generation markets a plus along with the investment and sand casting sectors

  • team player with ability to work with both junior level as well as senior level internal colleagues and customer decision makers

  • excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills

  • fluent in Chinese and English, both written and spoken, knowledge of German a plus

  • good organizational, analytical, strategic thinking and project management skills

  • good intercultural awareness and competencies

  • willingness to work flexible hours and travel

  • good leadership skills
