What you can expect

Job Objective:

Determination of reliable test results and compilation of findings from tests and research as a basis for decisions on further development steps.

Your tasks:

  • Planning and carrying out preliminary tests in the laboratory and on high-speed sintering laboratory printing machines (VX200-HSS, VX1000-HSS)
  • Operating measuring equipment to determine physical and chemical parameters (DSC, PSD, REM, rheometer, microscopy, material testing methods, etc.)
  • Evaluating and documenting the tests according to defined specifications
  • Carrying out research on the results
  • Preparation of test reports
  • Development of design specifications for prototype designs
  • Weighing up, pointing out and recommending further development steps
  • Communicating with colleagues from other specialist departments
  • Internal and external presentation of results in project meetings

Your profile:

  • Successfully completed (Master's) degree in the field of materials science, chemistry, physics, environmental and process engineering or a comparable qualification
  • Basic knowledge of CAD, 3D printing and mechatronics is an advantage
  • Confident handling of common Office applications
  • Goal-oriented, structured and independent way of working
  • High level of reliability and ability to work in a team
  • High sense of responsibility and creativity
